Naruto - Drifting - Cover

This is the cover art to my fanfiction, Naruto - Drifting, which follows the journey of our main hero through a world, which encompasses the entirety of the Naruto universe, including the manga, anime, OVAs and movies.

The fanfiction I'm writing follows an AU version of Naruto who grew up on the streets and in the forest, where he learns how to fight and survive in a way that is considered completely unorthodox by normal shinobi standards. Thanks to living with animals and in the wild for much of his life, he's honed his senses to be much sharper than an ordinary person's, and has moulded himself into a boy who's both quick and clever. His quest to becoming Hokage will take him far and wide across the entire continent, even to places where he just didn't expect to end up, and make a few friends and enemies along the way.

I created this Naruto because I came to the conclusion that the original Naruto from canon isn't as good a hero as he's supposed to be. Though I thank Masashi Kishimoto for making the series and continue waiting eagerly for him to finish it, he unfortunately made the original character terrible, and while I believe that the Naruto featured in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series was spot on in terms of standing and prowess as a shinobi and as a hero, and is perhaps my favourite version of Naruto, I still feel that it isn't enough, and thus wrote this story.

And what good story like this isn't complete without a harem. Since it's one of my favourite genres, I just had to. On his journey, Naruto meets a number of girls and befriends them. Over time, they also grow fond of him, and many end up falling for him.

As featured in the cover and for all those following my story, the main girls in the harem include: Tayuya, Samui, Tenten, Isaribi, Temari, Kin and Fu. Koyuki is also in it, though is regrettably not featured in the cover. I'm also thinking of adding Hinata and a couple of others. But that's a wait and see for this one.

There are also characters in the background that play a significant part in the story much later on. The fans of the series will be able to identify them, and those following my story will definitely know who the OC character is in the upper right corner and, if they've been paying close attention, will also know who the main villain in the shadows is. The main villain of the story isn't an OC. In fact, he's featured in one of the movies. Feel free to guess who it is.
